Role Objective

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Sales & Business Development – India to lead EyeROV’s national sales function.
This role will drive:

You will build and scale a high-performance sales organization aligned with our aggressive growth roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Sales Leadership

Define and execute annual Sales & Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy across product & service verticals.
Build and lead a pan-India sales team (Regional Managers, SDRs, Coordinators).
Drive Booking–Billing–Collection targets with regional accountability.
Align Marketing, Product, and Operations for unified revenue outcomes.

Business Growth & Market Expansion

Expand EyeROV’s footprint across high-value sectors:

🔥 Oil & Gas / Energy (Conventional & Renewables)

🚨 Disaster Management & Emergency Response
Develop strategic partnerships with EPCs, Consultants & System Integrators.
Strengthen long-term project pipeline and national presence.

Sales Operations & Governance

Ensure accurate forecasting and strong CRM pipeline discipline.
Standardize proposals, pricing frameworks & approval workflows.
Lead weekly sales reviews and monthly board performance updates.
Drive adherence to incentive structures and KPI achievement.

People & Performance Management

Coach and mentor regional sales leaders.
Define KPIs and performance scorecards.
Build a culture of ownership, accountability & transparency.
Collaborate with HR on hiring & capability building.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

Build CXO-level relationships across Government, PSUs & Enterprises.
Lead major contract negotiations & commercial discussions.
Represent EyeROV at national industry events & defence forums.
Oversee documentation, completion milestones & collections with Finance & Operations.

Skills & Qualifications

✔ Experience

15–20 years of progressive B2G / B2B Sales Leadership experience.
Strong track record in capital equipment/technology solution sales to Defence, PSU, or Government clients.
Experience scaling regional or national sales teams in Defence, Oil & Gas, Hydro, or Infrastructure sectors.

✔ Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electronics / Instrumentation preferred).
MBA (Sales / Marketing) is an advantage.

✔ Core Competencies

Strategic GTM & revenue planning expertise.
Deep understanding of GEM, RFPs, Tender & Public Procurement Processes.
Strong negotiation & executive communication skills.
Data-driven CRM & pipeline management discipline.
High accountability with readiness for extensive domestic travel.
